Hi all. So I've been using coco coir for quite a while and realized it's way too messy, so I'm thinking of changing my substrate choice. Any recommendations for my 2 year old sulcata?

Also, I have this Beech wood chips, I wonder if I can make use of them?

No beechwood chips. They will mold if you get them wet, and your substrate needs to be damp.

Orchid bark is the best substrate. Also called "Repti-Bark" if you have the ZooMed brand over there. I buy it in bulk much cheaper at local nurseries, but not sure if you can get it over there. Do people grow orchids there? Find a big orchid grower and see if they have a source for it.
