I'm on my phone.
I can't tell if it's short and fat or longer and skinnier.
Is the underside of the shell (plastron) dished at all or flat
It’s flat when it’s tail was out it looks short and flat I’ll see if I can get better pictures

Female in my opinion. Plastron isn't concave and tail is kind of small. My tort is definitely a male and he's about the same size. Here's some pics for comparison.IMG_20200120_192113590.jpg IMG_20200120_192118682.jpg

Wow yes I definitely see how concave the plastron is in that photo and that tail is long and skinny ! So about how old would you say they are at this size ?

I can't say for sure. The tort in the picture I've had since January 2018. He was about 400 grams when I got him. The only reference I have is my other tort who just turned 1 and weighs about 400 grams. So I think mine that's about the size of yours should be between 3-4. That's just a guess though.

Okay thanks for the reply I’ve read different things on counting growth rings on scutes as well but not really that worried about it lol
