Hi all!

We are tortoise newbies! This is Stevie, we got him December 2020.

Food: (we vary his food) romaine, butter lettuce, radicchio, flower food topper (rarely), tortoise pellets (rarely), repticalcium with D3 lightly dusted every day to every other day
Substrate: zoo med cypress mulch
Lights: zoomed repti sun 10 uvb 26 watt and 100w ceramic heat emitter

We keep his humidity around 50-60%
Temp from 85-100 f

He currently weighs 43g

We soak him every day to every other day. He has been pooping and urinating fine.

I wanted to post some pictures to ask others for their opinions and see if Stevie looks "healthy"

The white stuff around his face is the calcium powder

Thanks!

Looks good so far. Those puck like temp and humidity gauges are junk and not reliable.
Cut back on the calcium to 2 or 3 time a week not daily. Too much is as bad as too little.
A better humidity gauge might say the humidity is too low as it's hard to keep that high a humidity in an open enclosure.

Ah, yes! I definitely should've mentioned that in the post! I forgot if he is a western or eastern ?
He is beautiful whichever he is.
Here is the most up to date care sheet which will help you keep him happy and healthy

You have a suitable UVB light it seems.
It is a tube and not a screw in bulb?
Do not use the calcium with D3 more than once every week or two.
With the correct UVB and a good diet, most of your D3 will be processed naturally.
(Too much D3 will cause issues)
