I'm going to guess that it wouldn't be good to feed. I don't really know. But because of its color and bad smell I wouldn't chance it.

This parrot rescue lists it as toxic http://www.nlpr.org.uk/plant-table.html?height=400,width=400 but what their source is for this claim is unknown to me.

The ASPCA gives a non-toxic rating for one of the species http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants/carrion-flower-2

I would choose not to feed it, however. Members of the milkweed family aren't known for being particularly edible. I suspect the sap could be somewhat irritating as well. Lots of known edibles out there - I see no reason to test if this plant is safe.

According to the SPCA site, carrion flower, AKA toad flower, AKA Stapelia hirsata is not toxic to dogs, cats or horses.
