I just ordered this book so that i can get a firm grasp on star tortoises before I get one. I was wondering if anyone has this book or has read it, and if the knowledge within the book is up to date. I plan on having everything in a habitat for it as natural as possible with well established native plants growing in it.

Just wanted to give kudos to you for being so well prepared and patient before getting your new family member. Sorry, I do not know anything about stars or the book though.

It's a good easy read. I would highly recommend it for someone new to Indian Stars.

BTW: It's "Jerry" Fife. :p

I reviewed this book around a year ago. It's great! Nobody 100% agrees with ANY book, but it's pretty good.

Haha i meant Jerry, I plan on getting a Sri Lanka, i think they are gorgeous, i've already found some true breeders out there so now i'm ready to begin studying. Note: it may be a year max before i get sri, as i really want to make sure they or it gets a head start.
