Star lays eggs

Hi ,
last night went in to check my Stars to find 10 eggs that she had just finished laying ,
I have put them in a incubator at 31c
is there anything more I should do ,any help would be appreciated

Do you have a hygrometer in the incubator? What are you keeping the humidity at?
Congratulations on those eggs. Thats awesome

Keep the humidity between 60-80% as well and leave them alone for about 90 days. Did she lay the eggs on the top of the substrate like shown in the picture or did you dig them up?

Show a picture of the incubator and your set up
This is my incubator , I have put them in plastic box’s with a few holes and vermiculite , humidity is between 60-80%
she layed her eggs on top of substrate and had just finished when I found them

Thanks Tom for your advice found it very interesting and took note on your the bit about after they have hatched removing the vermiculite so they don’t eat it

Does she have a nesting area where she can dig a nest that’s about a foot deep? I have found that eggs laid on top of the substrate are never fertile. But I always incubate them just in case.

Oh! Right so I should not get my hopes up , but why is that they are not fertile if layed on top of substrate , is it not already decided before she lays them which have been fertilised and which have not
