I have an asparagus fern in my indoor enclosure, my RT does not try to eat but it's not harmful if he does. I also have a large snake plant in there. He's taken a few bites out if it but I think it was pure curiosity, he doesn't munch on it. I like these plants because he's not interested in eating them so they keep his enclosure looking nice and natural and offer a hiding place and some interest.

I tried sweet potato vine once and it looked really great.... until they ate every leaf off of it! I was worried they were not eating their food I put out. I soon discovered why, lol. It does look good though and it is safe for them to eat. You just have to plant it in a way that they an not get to it all at once.
