OMG Jacqui, that is devastating. How high did the flood level get to? Was this a freak of nature or has it happened before?

Every 8-10 years, but never this high or strong before.

Do you have to built tort huts on stilts, above any flood water level so they can retreat to safety. Huh and I moan about our weather. We don't get extremes like that where I live.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you didn't lose any animals. It must be extremely hard to see all your work just destroyed so quickly.
