Something on Redfoot's face

Hello, this is my redfoot buddy, Herman. I noticed he has this white stuff on his face near his mouth. Is this just something that he rubbed up against or is this a disease that I need to get him seen for? I've never seen anything like it on him before.

It looks like a spider web or something. Did you try wiping it off?

Or at least a good soaking & a rub. It dies look like a spider web, but in second pix looks more like very dry cracked skin. Hhmm. ?‍♂️

That's weird. Other than what was already said I can't really think of anything else but rubbing it on something but doesn't seem likely pattern

I didn't try wiping it off just in case it was something I shouldn't touch. Maybe I'm just being overly cautious. Thanks for your help

Oh lordy. . . that looks spooky. I'd moisten a Q-tip with coconut oil and rub it off.
