Hello and welcome to the forum. I also have a young Aldabra. Aldabraman is the best source for information. Very nice person and awesome to get to know.

Nice looking Aldabra. I see you have been a member since 2014. So why haven't we seen more of this cutie :mad:. :D Well, Greg is the one that can help the most here. He has the most, oldest and the longest. Hopefully he will help out soon.

Think this is a female. Both of our to Aldabras look pretty much alike. One is 7 years old One is almost 9.

That looks like a male tail to me. The cloaca is out towards the end of the tail. If it were female the cloaca would be more towards the body.

Count the scales between cloaca and the tail tip. Males do have 12-20 scales, female about 8-13 scales.
