Must be nice to live somewhere that you can leave stuff outside and nobody swipes it

I must be the only one who doesn't like the first one, because it looks mean. I do like the second one. Where is it from?

My four year old is with you on this one. The first statue scared the daylights out of her! She is slowly getting used to it.

I just bought tortoise #2 at Pier One. It was the first one I've bought, and I love it. Yesterday I was at one of those pottery import places in Old Colorado City, and looked at a Tallavera tortoise planter for $120, bought a much smaller, more sedate version for $18. I like Tallavera, but it would be a style commitment I'm not ready to make! Rob, I'm going to assume that #2 is a terra cotta type clay, so it needs to be taken in over the winter. Otherwise the moisture in the clay will freeze and cause the work to crumble.

My kids gave me that big one last year for Mothers Day....I think it was Mothers day....anyway, it's still in my living room. Maybe this Summer I'll put it outside. I love the second one too.

We don't have Kmart around here either! There was one down at school in central IL, but I think that one closed too.

Love the new additions! ;)
