Daisy had her morning poop today and I noticed that it was a lot softer than usual. She is fed wet mazuri mixed with Bermuda dandelion greens and supplemented with centrum. This is the first stool she has had that was irregular since she arrived in April. Does it look like anything I should worry about

I think I found the culprit... I think moisture has gotten into my mazuri...... Does anyone know if this can kill my aldabras. I fed her half a cup of mazuri yesterday. Not all the pellets are contaminated although I am throwing it all out

I don't know if it could kill them. However, I would doubt it. They have been know to eat worse in the wild. It may upset her stomach a little, therefore the loose stools. Also, do you give calcium every day? They can get too much calcium which isn't that good for them. I would give it 2 times a week. Also, their diet should have more variety then just the three items listed. Try, mulberry leaves, rose of Sharon flower and leaf, hibiscus flowers and leaves, optunia cactus, orchard and alfalfa hay, just to name a few.

Sorry I made the post quick. I prepare the food three days a week. The other four she grazes her habitat. She has three muscadine vines kudzu vines a prick less cactus. Stone crop and a rose of Sharron in her enclosure.. I do supplement her food every time I prepare it however... Every now and then I will scatter wet mazuri through out her enclosure on her grazing days..... I also spread limestone calcium once a month in her enclosure
