soft belly

Hi Everyone, my baby is about 4 months old and his belly is really soft, im worried... help what does this mean?

What kind of tortoise? Can you post some pictures of him and his enclosure? How is he acting?

Are we talking soft and squishy or a bit pliable. Babies hatch from a curled up position and gradually straighten out. The plastron gradually hardens over the next few months.

If it's just a bit flexible then don't worry; it will harden over time

if i GENTLY push it with my finger there is a softness and some give but it springs right back... kind of like squeezing an orange . The top is nice and hard like a normal shell
