Size in sulcata

This is probably a basic question I have a 10yr female Sulcata tortoise that much larger then my friend 17 year old male is that normal ?

How large are we talkin' here? And are you sure yours is female? Please post some pictures.

Yes it is normal. Most breeders don't start babies correctly and then people follow the breeder's incorrect care advice and don't take proper care of them when they are small and growing. For these reasons, and many others, they all grow at different rates.

Post pics of the tails and anal scutes if you ant us to sex them. Most people get this wrong too.
