Thanks for answering. The only Mazuri I've seen is the stuff I tried with tiny rabbit pellet size pellets and none of my toroises want anything to do with it even after soaking. Yours looks like something much bigger. Also what is the designation on the package for yours? And do you know the protein content?

The one you had sounds like the original. Most torts aren't too crazy about the original. This is the 5M21 formula. It's bigger and softens better when soaked in water. The Mazuri site says "Crude protein not less than 15%"

It really helps to get tortoises to eat stuff they normally wouldn't if you mix it.

Here’s my Pumpkin. Chilling on my chest. I interact as much as I can to build trust and bond. I had a lady over road saying it was over kill and I’ll ruin the tortoise by interacting with the tort the way I do. I hold her/him while I’m sorting the fresh food out. Same when I’m spot cleaning. When pumpkin is eating sleeping or soaking I’ll leave her/him to it. But I do observe when soaking. She/he has a shallow pool in enclosure. I’ll sit in garden so pumpkin can roam about. I won’t leave him/her unattended when outside as pumpkin is only 4months. Am I doing wrong?

I’m in awwwww haha. She hasn’t long had her second soak. I soak her 3 times a day 15mins at a time. She wonders up to me pokes her head out as far as she can for a scratch. Well usually but this time she spotted my purse so went to investigate as they do.

I believe so, the oil also helps prevent shell rot and helps smooth out cracks on shells

I’ve mostly seen people give torts balls to push around. Some like it some don’t. It’s kinda a hit or miss
