i have a BioActive tortoise enclosure and I want the plants to do a little better. I currently have an Arcadia light which lets of UVB and UVA so he gets most of his UVB there but I also have a long tube UVB light. I was wondering if it would be okay if I switched over to a Arcadia jungle dawn LED rather than the UVB tube, he also has D3 calcium powder that I put on his weeds and flowers twice a week. In the summer he’s in his outdoor enclosure as well, Would he still be getting enough UVB if I changed? Thanks.

Rather than switching, I would simply add the plant bulb and run both. LEDs don't use much power and they don't make much heat.

Just use add a jungle dawn or have the enclosure next to a window.

These LED plant lights are $40 in stock at Home Depot.
My Sheflerra love them.
Don't mount them on the back of an enclosure like in my photo.
They work good. Produce no heat and use very little electricity.
