Had to move away from my roomy apartment into a smaller house. Only had room for a long, thin enclosure, so this one is a bit experimental and certainly a change from the basic bookcase enclosure he had at first.
I built it with materials from Lowe's at the cost of about $60.
Very hard to get a picture of!
The pen is 5ft x 14". The cool hide w/ the hinge door at one end is 1 cubic foot, approximately.
Temps vary from 72 to 95.
Compared to the old enclosure, it's definitely taller, so he's got lots of room to dig and it's nigh impossible to find him on most days.
The wood I used ended up being really absorbent, so we had to line the inside of the enclosure with plastic. It stays dry now.
Since the picture was taken, I added back his fake plants and a small ceramic heating bulb in case he wants to be warm at night.
