hello guys, sheldon is a few months old and ive had him a few weeks now. seems to eat really well, gets sprayed afew times a day and when i soak him he spends the 30 minutes trying to get out of the bowl. yesterday we found him in his water dish soaking himself for about 30 minutes without moving. he usually never goes near the dish and rarley drinks from it. has something changed that he wants to soak himself? is this a bad sign or a good one? let me know. thanks todd:tort:

He's just decided to experiment. He's probably decided that the water bowl isn't some dangerous creature that's about to attack him.

Whether it's a good sign that he's going to soak himself from now is another question entirely... Like every other tortoise he'll soak himself when it suits and reserve the right to appear to hate baths on all other occasions! :D
