Shark??

This was given to a customer at my work, some kind of shark, does anybody know what kind, apparently from Fiji

All I know is, shark is good eatin.

Rare to see a jaw preserved shut! Sand tiger, I'd say!

I agree the teeth do resemble a sand tiger. Not sure if they live in fiji. I think Australia has a subspecies that they call they Grey nurse.

It's either sand tiger or mako. I can't tell which one from the pics. They are the only common big sharks that have two distinctly different teeth in front and back. The jaw shape and large gap where the two sides of the jawbone meet, make me think it's probably sand tiger, Carcharius taurus.

Mako teeth don't curve back in the front...they're a more sleek, dagger version of GW teeth...sticking with sand tiger
