I have about a 7 month sulcata tortoise, and I know it take about 5 years to know the gender but I heard some tortoises can be sexed early in their and was wondering if anyone who works with sulcatas, can help me out and see if they can sex my tortoise, I am really curious!70B90C86-D869-4A9D-A1FD-772B09DCCD46.jpeg6478C03E-6C7B-4B61-8D2E-5BD54C61A58D.jpeg19136436-D2CA-4ECA-A066-60D2684B6465.jpegAD15F7FC-A7AD-44DE-9EA1-DA4741A83D89.jpeg

Thanks! His/Her names Crush!

There is absolutely no way to tell visually, at that size.

I have one named Crush as well. But he deserves the name as he is now 22 yrs old and weighs over 200 lbs! (I hatched him in 1998) Look what you have to look forward to!

Their sex can be guessed at this size and there is a 50% chance that each and every guess will be correct.

There are many many ways. You are only limited by your creativity and imagination. How about flipping a coin? Heads its a male, tails its a female.

Do you know the incubation temperature? If you ask the breeder, they can probably tell you.
