Long time no post, but thought I would share!

I hadn't seen Keita (my Sulcata Tortoise rescued from the OC Shelter) for a while, and since her species does not hibernate, I was getting a little worried. Thanks to my creation of a camcorder and flashlight duct taped to a broom handle, I was able to find her safely tucked away in the back of her "home". I heard her "hiss", so knew I found her. Enjoy!

Nice! Looks like Keita has been a very busy tortoise. :) How long would you say her tunnel is?

Nice. Very Blair Witch Project!

I spend a lot of time searching for Ned. I figure if he lives to 80, then I will spend at least a few months of my life looking for him.

Blair Witch is what I was thinking. Was waiting for a scream. If it were a little longer, I would have gotten some popcorn. Love the vid.

Wow cool. Did he dig the whole thing by scratch? Or was there already some kind of hole or tunnel there? If he did that's pretty impressive :)

It seems like it would be really hard to pull them out! I would be too scared to let my sulcata burrow that deep when they get big :p

She did it all by herself! She decided to start digging in the corner of her kiddie house one day, then just kept going! ;)

One of my friend had three adults that tunneled under his house and almost caused major structural issues due to under mining. Cute tortoises but I lean towards the ones who live above ground. lol
