Good morning,
I have a russian turtle female. Problem is this: when i hold my turtle in hands or open doors of terrarium, i hear snap, click through her resp. tract. Turtle eats good, active (of course she is more active in summer), no running nose, no opening mouth, but she blinks often, eyes are not red, puffy, no discharges.
Temps in basking spot - 38 - 40 degrees Celsius, centre area 30 - 35, cold area at night 20, at day — 25 - 28.
I use repti glo 5 uvb tube lamp, humidity 30 - 36 percents. I use corn subtrate, sometimes rags.
Question is this\: is this snap, click very dangerous or not? What can i do? Show turtle to vet or not?
Thank you for answers.
