Russian Tortoise Health - Unusually bad smelling poop

My female Russian tortoise has been pretty normal with her poop (dark long pellet type, that don't smell). Today she positively reeked so much that I had to give her a bath and wash her because she had poop on her and it smelled really bad. After I washed her I put her back into her enclosure and a few minutes later checked on her. She had pooped again and it was much lighter in color than normal and super soft. It smelled extremely bad.

I've given her some Napa Cabbage over the past week, which is a new vegetable for her. I've had her since October and she's 5 years old. Is this just a diet change result or could it be a health issue that I need to address?

Usually it's the tortoise species that eat animal protein that have bad-smelling poop. I don't know why your russian's poop smells bad, but it's more than likely something she has eaten. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it continues.
