I've had my Russian for 11 yrs now and normally he eats every 2-3 days. Last month I brought him to TN (from NY). Initially he was ok--he ate 4 times the first week, 3 the second (pretty normal for him). At this point it's been 10 days since he's eaten anything. I offer fresh food every day (romaine lettuce, mixed veggies, and tortoise pellets)--the same food he's eaten forever. He is indoors only, so I don't think the change in climate has been a factor. He is less active on his own--if I encourage him to move about the apt freely, he will. Anyone have any ideas on what other foods to tempt him with, or do you think he's hibernating early? Thanks for any assistance...

Have you been hibernating your Russian? Have you checked that his temperatures are the same as when you were in New York? How long are your lights on for?
