Sooo I have Rosie a yearling redfoot. She spends most of her time indoors but now she'll get a bit more outdoors time since I finished putting together her outdoor pen and fencing off the dogs...

Soo here is her ghetto cinderblock "prison yard"

The area before:

The initial lay down of weed cloth and blocks. Used weed cloth to prevent digging out (although soil underneath is sandy clay and had building debris like nails, etc. that I removed as much of as I could).

Mostly done! Used a paint tray for a water dish but will eventually have it nicer and add more plants/hiding areas/a lid.

Exploring/eating the flowers:

Found the moss/water! :tort:

The white thing is a dish bucket with a hole cut in it and damp soil underneath. She's already figured out she can hide in there. :p

Nice job!
You can put soil in the cement blocks and plant more flowers for food.
You can spray it down a couple of times per day when it is warm.

It's warm basically all day here in the Carolinas. But I just didn't have enough soil left to fill the holes.
