Do these look like 'regular' redfoot tortoises to you? Regardless they sure like these blooms..

Yum Yum. They could be major pollinators if they didn't eat the whole blossum. Oh well, thats what bees do and we enjoy the fruits of their labor. LOL

Looks like cotton candy to me, maybe I'll have some. LOL. I used to grow lots of Hibiscus the tropical type but we now have a "Pink Hibiscus Mealy Bug" that causes nurseries to be quarantined so I had to get rid of mine :( Douglas Beard

Thanks everybody for the kind words. Having a decent camera and knowing a little about how to use it helps. Of course you should see the instruction manual.. [ after jumping up and down on it SEVERAL times - they don't consider that I don't understand the "terminology" that they use ]

Douglas - I do have a few 'tropical' hibiscus.. for food purposes mainly.
They sure like the red ones!

This is one of those plants that makes those 7-8" blooms..
