Redfoot With 2 Extra Scutes

I know the tortoises often have an extra scute if they are incubated at higher temperatures. But is it rare to have one with 2 extra scutes?

Really nice looking tort. It's not really what I would call rare. Most will only have one, but we've seen them with two a lot of times where I wouldn't consider it rare.

I have one with two split scutes. She's happy and healthy!

Two front costal scutes are split on both sides.

My cherry head has some extra scutes, all on one side.
