Just set up a small vivarium for the 5 babies I found in my enclosure.
It’s only 18x36” so won’t last long(6months or so).
I want to keep them in as controlled environment as possible. I’ve gone back to a set up that i think works.

The viv is lined with a plastic sheet. 3” of moist coir for substrate.

A watering dish in the middle. I’ll feed on a slate under the UVB light.

Bedding will be spagnhum moss on the right hand side in the darker end. No hide.
They will have to dig down for cover. No bark in there as I think this makes it harder for them to dig in. I want them to be covered in moist coir when hiding.

UV level is at 1.2 on the Ferguson scale and light will be on for 14hrs per day.

Heat will be set at 80f in darker end and I should get 82/84f ish in the lighter end in this size viv with the 100watt CHE. CHE on a stat, no night time drop.
Again I’ve put a shield under the CHE so that there is no concentrated heat spot that dries out the neonates, all I’ve used is an old tin lid and screwed it to the bracket for the uvb tube.
Humidity will be at 90/99% constantly, I want 99%.
I’ll soak daily too.
I will be feeding anything and everything. If it’s on the redfoot menu they are getting it.
Meat protein once a month from 1 month old. Earth Worms will probably be my choice.
Nutrobal sprinkled 2 or 3 times a week.

Let’s see how these grow :)
