Ok so I found this stuff at menards it looks exactly like coconut coir to me. My plan was to put about 4 inches of this down and then cypress multch on top for a dry layer has anyone else used this stuff before does it work is it safe? Or am I better off just buy eco earth or something like that from a pet store there is nothing but sphagnum and peat moss in it no chemicals at all just wondering if he burrows if it’s ok with his eyes and inpaction thank you!

I use Eco earth for my red foots. I used to use the Forest floor wood chips but I wouldn’t recommend this. Stick to Eco earth. It’s sometimes works out cheaper if you use the blocks and put them in water rather than using the 26L bags
