We recused a Russian tortoise about a month ago. All has been great then today when we got him out his rear right leg doesn’t seem to be extending enough to lift that corner of his shell. Still wants to walk. Doesn’t seem to be in pain. Any ideas ?

Little more info needed. What was he housed in before you got him size?
What is he housed in now size?
Diet, substrate then and now?
Temps, day, night, basking, humidity?
Type of lighting and heating being used?

He was in a glass aquarium when we got him he is now in a wood tortoise house that we purchased he has approximately 8 inches in diameterShe had him on a very bad diet of mostly just iceberg lettuce But now we have him on collard greens mustard greens kale

80° 12 hours a day 65° the other 12 the 80° has a basking light and a basket slate. He does have a climbing thing in there is it possible that he fell off of that or something?

Possibly fell. I wouldnt really give him something to climb on unless you know he can right himself should he fall onto his back. Not every tortoise can right themselves.
Also an adult needs a minimum of an 4x8 foot enclosure. If you bought the typical tortoise house sold at pet stores it's not big enough unless hes a hatchling.
The basking spot needs to be 95-100 to properly digest its food.
If you are using those puck/disc like temp gauges sold at pet stores they are not accurate. Get a digital from a hardware store along with a point and shoot temp gun so you get accurate temps at tort level.
Also try adding a bigger variety to his diet. Just romaine was bad but a proper diet of more variety is needed.
Check out the russian section for care and diet items.
