I have taken on from a friend, several captive born and bred Pancake Tortoises (Malacochersus tornieri). He has been breeding this species ever since the late 1990's and these are his offspring from his original adults. Every single one is 100% flawless and grown properly, no pyramiding, no extra scutes. There are 6 sexable males, 4 sexable females and 1 that I am not 100% sure on but it looks female. I am happy to provide close up tail shots for you to decide yourself.
Each tortoise is between 4 and 5.5" so they are young adults and are a perfect size to start with. They are not beat up, old fresh imports and they are not fragile hatchlings. They are clean as can be, and even though captive bred, I have still wormed them as a preventative. Tortoises can still contract parasites from being outdoors and grazing, so it certainly doesn't hurt to do it. Whether you choose to continue worming them, is entirely up to you.
I am including a group shot showing 5 of the males, a group shot of 3 of the females and a shot of the unsexed animal. I picked up another 1.1 pair from him AFTER I took these photos, so please request to see shots of them if you are interested.
*I am also happy to provide individual photos of each animal for you, as well as their current weights.
**Prices are as follows, and PLEASE keep in mind that they are of course a bit higher than what you will see on some sites because there is years of hard work put into them, they have been pampered and properly raised:
