As requested, here are a couple of photos of my Radiated tortoise. The first was from July 2007 and the second from March 2010.

OMG! She/he's beautiful! One of our members, Gummybearpoop, posted a whole bunch of pictures of radiateds a couple weeks ago. Have you seen them? So many in one spot was almost too much for the eye to see. Do you have any trouble caring for this tortoise? Do they need any special care?

I haven't spent much time looking around the forum yet.

The care is really simple compared to torts with stricter dietary requirements, which is part of the reason I chose to keep this species!

One of the most beautiful of all the tortoises.

Yeah...right, Maggie....you wouldn't dare....and...we would all be heartbroken without our Bob stories.

I wouldn't mind having a nice lawn tank of my own one day. 80lbs is still a baby ;)

Richard...80 pounds may still be a baby, but this 80 pound baby has caused more trouble and spends so much of his time in trouble that I couldn't pay someone to take him...

Very nice radiata!

Radiated tortoises are one of the hardiest tortoises I have kept.

They are expensive...ranging from $500 to $8,000 for hatchlings, while
Indian/Sri Lankan star tortoises range from $200-$1,000 for hatchlings.
