Yes , place butter on it ! And you need a large glass of milk , and good movie to watch while I eat it ! This is my recipe for any cake or cup cake ! 
Wish I could help. I usually only ever use packaged cake mix.
I make 3 ingredient choclate chip pumpkin muffins. They are boxed spice cake, a can of pumpkin and a cup of two of chocolate chips. They are so moist and tasty. The recipe should be easy to track down. I'll try to remember to share it later.
