THat is why I have a two canister filter on City Water Line and will be installing a UV Light filter

From what I read looks like it is mostly dangerous to humans, but I am having to find new research.
Found one stating that one dog got infected and mice. Pretty sure tortoise is not subject of research.
Since our torts put whole heads in the water and it goes through their nose I would simply not use it till it is safe again. Call me paranoid ?
