Pulled these things out of a box turtle cage today that had become overgrown….I think they had cancer. One is so large that it literally seems to have split at the seams.

Yeah, regular potatoes are harvested annually, but I've never heard of the ornamental variety.

I once harvested a 4.5# russet. It was late in the year, but had been planted that year. Can't find the pic. It had re-sprouted in addition to the original greenery. Didn't look like a potato.
