Hi everyone, we have 2 tortoises which are both 1yr 6 months, they have both been very active since we got them and we love them to bits.
We have just been on holiday and left them with family, when we returned the one we call tommy does not seem to open his eyes at all and is very slow moving around, he has also stopped digging and burrying himself which he used to do all the time.
I would really appreciate it if anyone has any idea to what could be wrong with him and if there is something we can do?

thankyou in advance :)

We need more info. How long were you gone and was anyone watching them for you? What temps and humidity levels to you maintain?

Did you change anything like bulbs? Does the nose look runny?

Take some pics

they are both horsfields, we keep them in a tortiose table with a heat bulb and uv bulb, the table was set up by the shop we bought them from.
we where away for 2 weeks and no bulbs where changed but maybe the on/off times could have been different..
ill upload a pic now, looking close up on a picture now his eyes definatly look like they may be infected... thanks so much for your help!!

Oh, goodness. Poor thing! If you have a coil type UVB bulb, that could be the issue. They're known to cause eye damage.
