Absolutely terrible...those critters could have been surrendered to the animal shelter (even left there early in the am so that the workers would find them and the person would never have to have been known) and not left to dry out, overheat or starve...absolutely terrible.

What a horrible horrible thing.
We rescued a dog that was locked in a house and left after the owners moved away. I can't understand why people do these things.
