Please help

Hi guys I need help.My sulcata tortoise makes a squeaking noise when he moves his neck and sometimes he has spasms.He like jerks his whole body.

Have you checked him close for a runny nose? Herman had a runny nose and when he walked he would jerk his head weird. They can make squeaking noise's trying to breath. Do you feel he is getting enough calcium and D3? Just some things to consider I'm sure the experts will reply. I hope he gets well soon.

His physical appearance is perfect.I don't know why he acts sick.

You need to contact a tortoise vet if this is a new occurrence. The squeaking could be normal (jaw slightly misaligned, normal), but not if it is newly occurring. The spasms do not sound good unless you mean jerking the neck a bit. Tortoises do this normally, some say it is a dominance thing. They do it more when stressed. To be safe I think you should take him to the vet. It never hurts to get him a check up. If you haven't already, also get him a fecal test for parasites.
