Please help! (speckled shell)

Hi my Greek baby tortoise is looking like he has speckles on his shell and a light patch on his face any idea on what it could be? My phone isn't allowing me to upload pics at the mo will try add some asap

He looks a little dry. Do you have him in a moist environment?

I started of with aspen bedding ( as advised by a reptile shop) but I was told that was bad on here, so started using coco coir now, could that be why he's dry?
I'm soaking him everyday and he does himself.
Any more advice on how to keep it moist?

About 80% to be honest I'm new to this so any advice would be great

Show a picture of your enclosure with the coco coir, please. Also, what is he eating?

Sorry can't send a pic at the moment, it's coco fibre, he is having a mixture of weeds from the garden, I vary it daily, also I use moss in his hide
