Plastron Problem, please help diagnose

Here are some pictures to help explain why I'm scratching my head at the source of injury.

Here's the plastron today. Such a change from day to day suggests to me that it was a very fresh injury, no?

The second photo is one corner of the bottom level of the enclosure. It's the only part with anything besides substrate.

The last picture is the upper level with his hide.

Is your tort walking properly. Does it walk with the plastron fully clear of the ground? Is there some weakness in that leg?
That is a good suggestion. Never a problem previously. And standing him on our floor just now, he stands evenly, and clears the ground.
