Hi,

Does anyone know what plant this is? It started growing in April in one of my enclosures, has really big leaves, and has been blossoming these really pretty pink flowers since this week.

It's definitely not mallow (i.e. Malva sp.), because both the leaves and the flowers are much bigger.

Ken is almost right. It is in the mallow family, however it is hollyhock. And it is edible.

Thanks! Yes, it's definitely hollyhock, because I've planted some seeds, but I think it was last year and it sprouted this year...really strange. :)
