I've had him almost 15 years and he was an adult when I got him. He looks pretty good for an old guy!

I highly recommend these guys for a pet lizard. They are the best!

Oh my ...we have something like these in our back yard! I almost freaked when I first seen it, but then I looked them up. The one I saw was all brown...think it was a broad headed skink. Which are rare to this part of Ohio. We also have the cute blue tail skinks too.
Bubba looks good for 15! How long do they live?

Bubba is older than 15. That's how long I've had him. He has to be at least 17 or 18. Their lifespan is listed at 15 to 20 years.

This skink is much different than what you found. Blue tongued skinks are large. About 2 feet long and really fat and big. They also are native to Australia and New Guinea, not in the US at all.

He's gorgeous! I have a blue tongue, too; 'she' is not even a year old yet.

Wow, he is pretty! I've doing more research into these guys, and they seem awesome.
