I want to share with you an experiment that I've been doing.
Here in Florids, at about 6 years old, a cars headlamps begin to turn yellowish and hazy due to UV exposure.
Products are sold to "fix" that. But they are mostly just quick, band aid fixes that last a month and then require you to replace the entire headlamp.
These are, depending on the vehicle, between a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars a pair.

3 years ago, a sprayed a pair of headlamps on my truck with this SPRAYMAX 2K CLEAR while I was using some to paint part of a motorcycle.
I simply wet sanded with 400, then 800 grit wet paper. Masked and shot 2 coats.
I didn't expect much. But 3 years later, this lights are still crystal clear.
So, today I also sprayed the lights on my Scion. Again. They came out brilliantly.
So, I'm recommending this stuff to anyone looking to renew their headlamps in what would be as good and as durable as new condition.
Its available on Ebay. Its relatively expensive. But it is a true, 2 part URETHANE paint. Not your average spray paint.
And because it is a real 2 part, activated urethane...DO NOT BREATHE IT IN!
This stuff is not marketed as a headlamp restoration product.
Funny. Because it's better performing that what IS marketed.
