Hi, I’ve had my Russian since last November and it’s been very trial and error trying to improve his diet.
He’s currently on a diet of varied weeds which he begrudgingly will eat. He still won’t touch plantain for love nor money though ha! And I supplement him with some cucumber, florrett crispy mixed salad etc every now and again for variety and hydration.
And he’s very partial to edible flowers.

However, my issue is getting him to eat anything green if it’s got nutrobal on, he won’t even touch cucumber with it on.
The only way I’m able to get him to eat it is to keep the nutrobal in the fridge and sprinkle a pinch on wet Komodo pellets. He’s therefore getting the pellets nearly every day which I’m not sure is good for him?

Should I be giving him less pellets? How often does he really need the nutrobal? And what are the effects of feeding pellets frequently and long term?
I’d cut them out of his diet for a couple of months but then I worry about him not getting his supplements.

Any advice on pellets/supplements would be really appreciated,

Thank you [emoji4]
