Is it possible to build an outside enclosure in NY for the more tropical breeds? I am interested in Sulcatas, red-foots and other tropicals.

Hi SuperPeacockMan:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

What would you like us to call you?

Of course it is. But you will also have to provide an indoor habitat for the winter time. Take a look (use the "search" feature) at some of Terryo's habitats. She is on Staten Island and keeps redfoots and box turtles.

East End of Long Island. Sorry I posted sort of posted this twice, it was not posting at first. I will search Terryo's enclosures.
