I have two of my outdoor enclosures almost done. Hermann male in one and three russian gals in the other ( two of them are still not mature at less than 5 inches). not warm enough to have them out full time yet. They just had their run of the new digs today while we were enjoying the weather outside. The gals heve been getting along great however i know that can change quickly.
I transplanted some weeds from my yard and also seeded with testudo TS mix today. The gals ate two of the weed plants down to the crown in about 10 minutes. :) next weeks weather is looking good for them to be out for the day so building tops tomorrow. Bought chicken wire but after reading Toms hatchling pen thread i now know it won't keep out the raccoons. I haven't seen any coons in a while but i know they are out there. transplanted a few more weeds after the these pics but forgot to take updates ones. Duh... Also filled the water bowls. can't wait to see them outdoors romping again tomorrow!

Nice. I love all the little tortoise trails in the dirt.

I think Sig my Hermann is looking up at that corner thinking yep that is my escape route....
I have stones and pieces of wood on the corners until I get the tops on tomorrow but it definitely did not stop him from trying to climb this corner. funny thing is the gals went right to eating but the boy went looking for mischief. :) in his enclosures he is climbing 24/7 over everything and anything in his space. he goes through his hide and then over his hide and then back through his hide the opposite direction. ..Over the driftwood through the water bowl and back climbing the hide again..... he cracks me up, I could watch him for hours on end. I will post some updated pics when I get them completed. next week it will be warm enough they can stay out for the day! hooray!

20160312_143525.jpg Pretty much finished my enclosure. trying out some plastic humid hides. testing to see what they like best.

Went to check on them today and found a non tortoise in the humid hide. I think the tops will be more for my cats than raccoons.20160312_144046.jpg20160312_144032.jpg20160312_154549.jpg20160312_143411.jpg
