Am so excited to finish my Sulcata's outdoor enclosure... He is going to love it! I first had to dig up a TON of rocks, then dig up 4 bushes, and now I am digging a trench along the fence to fill with rocks to prevent him digging out. Here are the step by step pics of what I have done so far.

The ground is soft enough that he can burrow anywhere he wants. He just won't be able to burrow out!
What do you all think about substrate?
Should I just leave the dirt?
Put in sand?
Put in sod?

Thanks for the awesome website... I will be ordering!
Well... It is done(except for the fencing)!!!!!!
I planted some Geraniums, Hollyhocks and Hibiscus. There is a large rock for decoration, a cinder block on it's side for a little shelter, a planter on it's side with pea gravel and water in it for him to soak himself or drink and an area of sand for some diversity. I am so excited to have it done. And he just loves it! He has been cruising around, munching on plants and just enjoying his new space!
