Organic spagnum moss & organic Texas hardwood mulch?? Thoughts about this as sulcatas substrate?

And I moved the UVB bulb into the lamp without a screen in between and put the black light in the screened area. Thoughts?

The lamp/socket that you have the mvb in---is it ceramic or plastic? If it is plastic I would remove it and place it into a ceramic socket--those, as well as any, bulb get really hot when left on continuously .....

I just want to mention :D you may want to evaluate the overall safety of that water dish....it has edges that can create a roll over in a young/baby tort----some of the planter bottom/saucers work well...just my OCD concern :D

Organic peat moss is a good choice...I don't care much for bark/mulch---BUUUUT others her like it, use it and can likely offer you their opinion on that substrate...
