Thoughts on this spot on our Hermann's shell. I have a vet appointment scheduled for this Sat it was scheduled almost a month out for general wellness as we just got Tortie 8/22. I'll have her look at the spot but as it has gotten bigger since I first noticed it on 8/30. I have reviewed pictures and it wasn't there on 8/24.

Indoor habitat has basking spot at 90° cool side during day 75°. I'm still battling humidity it can range from 40 to 60. I have blend of ecobricks and topsoil and few small pots of wheatgrass and a water dish to help with humidity in the indoor pen. Lights are zoomed basking light and 10.0 t5 for uv. He has daily (if not raining) outside time in 10x10 planted area. He is soaked every third day. Great eater. Has been eating and pooping since first day with us.

He is a climber and I'm wondering if this is normal discoloration from bumping his shell against something or if this is something I need to be more concerned about.

Thanks in advance
