You're in luck. That looks very much like Morus, a mulberry. It is edible but research it further on the internet before you feed it.Ok this is growing in my neighbors yard but hanging all in mine. I believe it's a weed not a tree, but I could be wrong. There are no flowers. It's about 6'+ tall

Actually, some won't fruit so you can't rely on that. And there are many types of mulberries around.Ok this is growing in my neighbors yard but hanging all in mine. I believe it's a weed not a tree, but I could be wrong. There are no flowers. It's about 6'+ tall

The leaves of the Basswood or American Linden, Tilia americana, that I am familiar with on the Eastern Seaboard are uniformly heart-shaped, not variable like this one. From Sternberg and Wilson Landscaping With Native Trees: "They closely resemble the unlobed leaves of red mulberry (Morus rubra)."I'm not positive on this one, but I think it is a Tilia species - variously called basswood, lime, and linden trees. Not toxic.
